Argentina: Customs Information
General Requirements
Your shipment must arrive within six months of first entry into Argentina (or no more than three months before). If entry before this time period is required, contact us for customs co-ordination.
The shipper must be present in the country at the time of Customs Clearance in order to sign paperwork and provide an original passport. Physical presence at customs is not necessary.
X-Ray of Shipments
All household goods shipments to Argentina must be X-rayed at the port. This is a requirement by Argentine Customs.
Air Shipments
All air shipments incoming to Argentina for non-Argentinians with less than a one year visa or a tourist visa will be subject to payment of duties. Non-Argentinians with a one year visa or more will be required to place customs bonds.
