Khloe Kiwi: Update Four

With Khloe now 5 months old, she is starting to venture out and move about the sanctuary. She’s clearly a big fan of golf as she was found in a nice burrow in the ground under soft ferns and amongst golf balls in an area of trees between the 14th and 17th fairways. As you can see from the photo below she has almost doubled in size since we first introduced you.

We will be supporting a Kiwi bird for every family we move to New Zealand, – steering it through the hazardous route to maturity and mating age. The promise of adopting a kiwi is a move that could help protect and grow the numbers of the country’s rare and endangered mascot.
