John Mason International has this week received confirmation that it has gained IAMTrusted Moving Company (ITMC) status – becoming the first international moving company in the UK to achieve the sought-after accreditation. Currently at the time of writing this article there are only 30 moving companies around the world that have achieved this accreditation.
The scheme, managed by the International Association of Movers (IAM). It recognises member companies who have made significant investments to maintain a culture of competence and knowledge among employees.
Businesses who have gained ITMC designation must also have demonstrated a commitment to reducing inefficiency and risk, by collaborating with others within the industry who have earned ITMC credentials.
“We are thrilled that our team has been recognised for its efforts,” said John Mason International director, Simon Hood. “Achieving accreditation is a difficult challenge because of the incredibly high standards required – and John Mason International has succeeded where others have failed.
“I am proud that we have been assessed and excelled in key areas – making us the first, and currently the only UK-based international mover with ITMC status.
“This scheme provides an international benchmark, designed to increase the overall standard of the work carried out within our industry.
“We pursued this ITMC standard to ensure all those who work with us, our peers and – of course – our customers, are left in no doubt about our commitment to constantly improve the services we offer.
“Our business is to relocate our customers to different locations across the world – and moving your entire life to a far flung corner of the globe can be an incredibly nerve-racking, albeit exciting, experience.
“That’s why it’s so important, now more than ever, for people to choose wisely and put their life-changing move in the hands of an international removals company they can trust.
“The team at John Mason International prides itself in ensuring our customers enjoy the best possible experience – before, during and after their move. This latest recognition from the IAM is wonderful recognition of that.”
