Along with the rest of the nation, we at John Mason International are in the grip of Euros fever – and we can’t wait for the historic final this weekend.
As one of the country’s leading international removals specialists, we are in the business of helping people up sticks from England and elsewhere, and settle into new lives abroad.
However, we know many of those whose moves we handle will never lose track of their roots. For our English clients, their team’s bid to lift the Euro 2020 trophy is a momentous occasion – just like it is for the rest of us.
After an incredibly challenging year, it’s time to get behind the England team and celebrate an extraordinary journey. This is a journey we’ve all been on together, no matter where in the world we might currently be living – and it’s come at just the right time.
Who would have thought, when England lost to Iceland in Euro 2016, that we would come so far? It’s all in the planning of course. Yes, the England team is packed full with footballers exuding talent and skill but – as with everything else in life – an excellent strategy goes a very long way.
The current England team’s success has been in the making for some time, and it is underpinned by Gareth Southgate, an army of coaches, nutritionists, doctors, physiotherapists and so on. What we see on the pitch is beautiful – but it’s the end product of something far greater.
You can equate it to any well-run outfit – whether it’s a successful political campaign, a FTSE 100 company, a tech giant or – of course – an international relocation specialist!
When one of our clients makes the decision to move abroad, it’s the John Mason International team’s job to plan and implement their dream. We may not lift a trophy at the end of it – but we do get an immense sense of satisfaction, and that’s good enough for us.
Getting back to the Euros. C’mon England! Let’s bring it home!
