We offer sea freight shipping services and air freight services if you are planning an International Removal to Guatemala. If you are moving to Guatemala, you will need to obtain a quotation for your move. You can do this by either contacting us with a list of what you would like to ship (for small shipments) or arranging a free, pre-move survey (for full house moves). We will then provide a quotation for your move to Guatemala.
If you choose to accept our quotation, we will then allocate a Move Manager to you who will provide all of the necessary support throughout your relocation. They will arrange moving dates with you, advise on the relevant customs requirements for Guatemala, co-ordinate the packing and shipping of your household effects and will be responsible for your move until the final stage of the process.

Moving to Guatemala: General Advice
You will need to obtain a Tax Identification Number (Número de Identificación Tributaria: NIT) in order to ship to Guatemala. All expatriates or returning Guatemalans must obtain this number. It is avaliable from the Finance Ministry in Guatemala (Superintendencia de Administración Tributaria).
How to Apply for a NIT Card Number
You must supply your original passport and a full copy of your passport. You will then be provided with an application form to complete. Please note that it is possible to use your company’s address / employer’s address on the Application Form if you do not have a permanent residence address at the time of application. The above process usually takes one day.
Customs Requirements for Moving to Guatemala
You must provide your Move Manager with your NIT Card Number and a copy of your passport for presentation to the Customs Authorities in Guatemala in order to import your items into the country.
