Director of John Mason International, Simon Hood, has been elected to the British Association of Removers’ Overseas Group Council, it was announced this week.
A long-standing member of the British Association of Removers (BAR), John Mason International is a leading light in overseas relocations. Its membership demonstrates the company’s commitment to those it is helping move their lives abroad.
Less than 60 companies in the UK meet the stringent membership criteria and exacting standards required of BAR’s members. Moving companies are regularly inspected to make sure their facilities, equipment, staff training and operational procedures remain at the highest level.
And now Simon Hood will play an influential role as a member of the association’s specialist Overseas Group, whose industry members specialise in moving individuals and families beyond Europe.
“At John Mason International, our expertise is in helping people move their lives abroad to an array of countries – including Australia, New Zealand, USA, South Africa and Canada,” said Simon Hood.
“We have been building up experience and expertise in this field over many decades, and I am proud to be leading my excellent team. Now, I also have a new role with BAR.
“The is the oldest, largest and most recognised trade association in the removals sector – and its Overseas Group is designed to extend its reach from the UK to destinations all over the world. I am delighted to have been elected to the council of this prestigious group, and I’m looking forward to developing new relationships with like-minded individuals and businesses, not only in the UK but across the globe over the coming year”.
