As widely reported in the media shipping line Maersk has been hit with a major cyber-attack. John Mason International removals use a number of shipping lines, including Maersk, as a result we are continuing to monitor the problems they are suffering from the cyber attack to ensure minimal impact to our customers
The latest communication from Maersk just before 12 noon GMT confirmed they will continue to provide the following services, so we are expecting little disruption to our services:
All immediate vessel operations will continue as planned
• Access to UK and Irish ports is not impacted
• Cargo in transit will be offloaded as planned.
• Import cargo will be released to credit customers
• Export haulage booked to load in the next 24 hours will be accommodated where possible
